I started writing a weekly neighborhood newspaper at a young age (and caused some drama with a breaking story about a neighborhood feud). I pursued a career in communications because I love the behind-the-scenes work of crafting a message and tweaking each word until it's just right.

I love learning about new industries and working with people who are passionate about what they do. Every day I look for that indescribable spark, that excitement over doing something well.
When I'm not hunkered over my laptop, wracking my brain for that one perfect word, I'm enjoying the simple joys of life with my family, chasing after our rescue mutt, planning our next trip to the mountains, or experimenting with a new cookie recipe.

Here are just a few of the accomplishments I'm proud to share.
As a copywriting and word aficionado, you can only imagine how much I fretted over my company's name. But "sprightly" just kept coming back to me. I'd be washing dishes and it would pop into my brain. Watering flowers, and there was "sprightly" again.
I read and reread the definition: animated or vivacious; lively.
Isn't that what communications should be? I certainly think so.
